LONDON RANDOM

BACK FROM LONDON

B/W COPENHAGEN

September 2015, Kaja took me on a surprise trip to Copenhagen. She had planned the trip for a long time, but wouldn’t tell me where we were going. So fun! It was a really nice trip – but we figured out at the end that we actually just had gone around in circles and hadn’t seen that much of the city as we thought, haha. We got to eat a lot of good food, did some shopping, just walked around and went to «Tivoli», which was fun! One thing that really surprised me was to see all of the people who used a bicycle, and all of the bicycles that was parked in the streets. Amazing!

SWEDISH SUMMER

A little throwback to the swedish summer. Once a year(at summertime) we drive to Sweden to visit our family – for those of you who don’t know, I’m half swedish. Normally we’re there for about a week, but this year we decided to stay a little bit longer, even though things didn’t go quite as planned. Me and my sister were actually going to have a little road trip so we could see more of Sweden and not just stay in Gothenburg(like we always do), but, of course, I managed to get sick, so we just stayed in Gothenburg the whole time. Went to Liseberg, did a little bit of shopping and through out the 2 weeks we stayed at different familymembers, which was lovely.

WHEN IN ROME

April 2015. I had finally turned 18, and my second trip this year was together with my class. We went to Rome! I have to say, what a beautiful city. Absolutely amazing. Though the food could have been better, haha – we always ended up at the wrong restaurants… And my foot was hurting so bad during the whole trip. I had my crutches with me, because I couldn’t walk at some point, and I actually ended up  sitting in a wheelchair while we were at the Vatican Museums. But, the pain didn’t stop me from admiring the wonderful city and the art. Wherever we went it was something new to stop and look at. And the apartment my group had was amazing – which made the stay even better. I wouldn’t mind another trip to Rome.

BACK TO AUSTRALIA

March 2015, and it was time for the first trip this year, and I were headed to Australia for two weeks together with my dad and sister – it was time for her graduation in Adelaide, and well, I couldn’t stay at home and miss the whole thing. We spent a couple of days in Adelaide first, where we got to see the city, ocean, ate a lot of good food AND we went to a Wildlife park, and I got to feed Kangaroos! Finally got to meet Skippy, haha. After my sisters graduation, we packed our stuff, were back on the plane and The Sunshine Coast were our next stop, which meant – tan time. It was lovely to spend some days by the ocean, just relaxed and enjoyed the sun and the view(aka boys). But once again we packed our stuff and out last stop was Sydney. We saw the Opera house(of course) and we actually watched an Opera play, Aida. It was really amazing. We thought about visiting the place where Home and Away is being filmed, but the weather wasn’t that great, so we dropped it, which I regret now.. But other than that was the whole trip wonderful! I really hope I get to go back one day – there is so much more so see.

Have you ever been to Australia?
